HOW MANY TREATMENTS DOES IT TAKE?

While multiple sessions (3-6) are typically recommended to achieve optimal results depending on your specific goals, noticeable changes can be seen just one week after treatment and gradually improve as the body’s healing process begins to take effect. Side effects are similar to a mild sunburn, such as redness, tenderness, and some swelling.

OUR PROCESS

• Clean & Cleanse: We use cleansers to clean the skin surfaces that are receiving treatment.

• Numbing Cream: We apply a topical numbing cream to ease discomfort that may occur.

•  Growth Factors and Hyaluronic Acid Serum: Contains pro-healing anti-inflammatory growth factors and cytokines derived from laboratory culture of human bone marrow mesenchymal growth factor. Hyaluronic acid that promotes rapid ultra hydration and volume.

• Microneedling Pen Procedure: We use small needles to prick top-layer epidermis, generating new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer and more toned skin.

24 HOURS AFTER TREATMENT

Keep the area clean by avoiding exercise, intimate contact, sleeping with pets in bed, touching the area with dirty fingertips, dirty mobile phones, and/or make-up application. Sleep with hair pulled back and change pillowcase bedding. All that comes in contact with your skin will enter the skin for a limited time. We want to minimize breakouts due to bacteria. You may clean your face with a gentle cleanser before bed.

MORNING AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

• Wash with any gentle cleanser.

• Avoid heavy makeup.

• Avoid chemical/mechanical exfoliants.

• Tenderness to touch is normal.

• Small pin-point bruises are normal.

• Continue any in-office recommended creams and SPF.

• Avoid direct sunlight.

• Extremes of temperature (sauna/steam room)

• Vigorous exercise

DAYS AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE

Dryness and flaking is normal. This is due to an increased turnover of skin cells. Continue any in-office recommended creams and SPF. You may continue your normal skincare routine 3 days after being treated. Redness/mild tingling may be normal.

WEEKS AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE

Microneedling directly results in a clinically significant and observable increase in collagen. Treatment protocols will vary depending on whether you are being treated for acne scarring / textural irregularities or hyperpigmentation like melasma. The clinical process of making new collagen and elastin can take up to 10 weeks. Skin thickening occurs, texture is smoother, and scars begin to fill with new collagen deposition. This takes time and optimal results are achieved over multiple sessions. Patience is rewarded when it comes to achieving Micro-Needling best outcomes.

This treatment is NOT recommended for pregnant/breastfeeding women. Do not stop any medically necessary medications. Allergies to anesthesia are rare, however do not apply if you are allergic to Lidocaine, Benzocaine, or Tetracaine.
