Harnessing the natural healing ability of the skin, Dermapen micro needling is for those looking for a crisp clean complexion.
Dermapen Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is the insertion of very fine short needles into the skin, creating microscopic punctures, that not only stimulates new collagen production through the healing process, but also allows active ingredients, such as peptides, anti-oxidants, hyaluronic acid, growth factor, etc., to penetrate deeply and effectively into the dermis.
With immediate and overtime improving results, microneedling will leave your skin plumped and glowing and with time improvement of acne scars, wrinkles, large pores, skin texture and tone.
Microneedling can be used on any part of the body and boasts a very short recovery time.
The skin needling treatments are performed in a safe and precise manner with a sterile, single use needle head and are usually completed in 60 minutes.

HOW DOES MICRONEEDLING IMPROVE THE SKIN’S APPEARANCE?
Microneedle pen rapidly creates a pattern of micro channels in the treatment area. These micro channels significantly increase the production of collagen and elastin to leave the skin smoother, fresher, and more uniform. Micro channels also enhance the skin’s ability to absorb medical grade topicals like hyaluronic acid and vitamins applied during or immediately after the treatment.
HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS?
You will notice visible changes over the course of several days and weeks. Your skin will continue to regenerate and improve up to 6 months.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS DOES IT TAKE?
It is recommended patients receive 4-6 treatments, depending on skin condition and age for optimal results. Usually the results should last about 6 to 9 months and is unique to the individual aging process. It is recommended to repeat once a year for maintenance and yearly rejuvenation.
IS THERE ANY MICRONEEDLING DOWNTIME?
Microneedling has minimal downtime. The inflammation and redness of the skin will typically reduce during the first 48 hours after treatment. It’s also recommended to avoid putting on makeup, or any other topical skincare products with AHA’s (Glycolic Acid), retinol, acidic or “active” irritating ingredients during the rest of the day. Your skin may also be a little more sensitive to sunlight, so you should avoid direct sun exposure for about a week after the session. Regular activity can be resumed the next day. Please follow the Post-Procedure handout for optimal results and to minimize side effects.
