PLASMA FIBROBLAST

NON-SURGICAL SKIN REJUVENATION

Plasma Fibroblast is a low-risk, minimally-invasive cosmetic treatment that eliminates excessive or sagging skin and improves the tone and texture of the skin. Using a hand help plasma device, we treat targeted areas. When the plasma pen touches the skins surface, the heat widens the pores and transfers from the epidermis to the papillary layer, which contains the fibroblast cells. It activate the Fibroblast Cells in the dermis; causing these cells to create high levels of Collagen and Elasin that creates an instant and long term tightening

(anti-aging effect).

It is a less expensive and safer alternative to invasive cosmetic surgeries (such as eye lifts, brow lift or tummy tucks).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Fibroblast Skin Tightening procedure has many advantages over cosmetic surgery as noted above. Two of the most noteworthy are minimal downtime and cost, which is typically a fraction of surgery.

This innovative treatment has been performed in Europe for many years and has just recently been introduced here in North America. The precise device works by using the voltage from the air between the tip and the skin to create a plasma charge. This plasma charge creates tiny "dots" on the skin which are placed strategically resulting in tissue retraction and tightening that can be seen immediately. The treatment does not cause any damage to the surrounding area.

HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?

Although Fibroblast is not as invasive as surgery, skin is actually removed so results can last years. As with most procedures, results are not permanent and does not stop the skin from it's natural aging process; skin will continue to age over time.

Results can be seen immediately and the area will continue to improve over time. Best results can be seen at the 12 week mark, when the skin has fully healed. Depending on the area and the skin condition some clients may need more than one treatment. Additional treatments can be booked in 8-10 weeks apart.

It is important to note that lifestyle choices can alter and/or shorten the benefits of the treatment such as smoking, alcohol consumption and prolonged sun exposure.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

On the day of treatment, it is requested you arrive to your appointment without any makeup for the area you would like treated.

A topical numbing agent will be applied to the treatment area and will ease any discomfort during the session. "Dots" will be strategically placed with the device for optimal results. You may feel some heat and mild discomfort. The session will last approximately one hour to two hours depending on the area treated.

Immediately after the treatment, the area may appear red and swollen with slight discoloration as well as tiny crustations or "dots". You may experience a sensation similar to that of a mild sunburn which will subside within a few hours. Swelling may increase over the following 2-3 days. The crustations and discoloration will slowly fall off within 5-7 days depending on the individual. Results may be obvious immediately after treatment and will continue to improve up to the 12 week mark. You will be provided with a aftercare set and after care instruction for optimal results! Although there is a bit of downtime, it is considerably less than traditional surgery.

You may drive home immediately after treatment, however due to the sensitivity of the eye area, you may experience irritation and swelling and in which case driving should be avoided.
